Biographical Info

Dr. Harshan received her MBBS degree at T.D. Medical College at the University of Kerala in Kerala, India. She completed residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at Memorial Medical Center in Johnstown, PA in 2005 and completed an oncologic surgical pathology fellowship at Fox Chase Cancer Centerin Philadelphia, PA in 2016 and a Cytopathology fellowship at New York Presbyterian/ÈÕ±¾avÉ«ÇéƬ in 2007.

Before joining NYP, Dr. Harshan was an Assistant Professor at Mount Sinai Beth Israel Hospital in New York and Assistant Professor at Lenox Hospital at Lenox Hill hospital, where she signed out a high volume of general surgical pathology with emphasis on cytopathology. She thrives on working efficiently and thoroughly ad highly skilled at performing and interpreting fine needle aspiration biopsies.
